Free Sofia Tour in the Media

We would not start doing tours in other languages than English. It’s just that the news about us travel worldwide already. Sofia is a green, clean and well organized city. This is not a dream, nor a prophecy but the opinion of foreigners from various countries, who have seen the capital with Free Sofia Tour. The visitors are pleasantly surprised by the explanation that part of this greenness is due to gardens “adopted” by private companies. Another prevailing perception among the guests is that everybody in Sofia speaks English and is always willing to help with directions or information, Kristian, Vanya and Boyko – three of the Free Sofia Tour volunteers – told BTA. The news about the new schedule of Free Sofia Tour spread really fast. Soon after we announced the start of two tours per day (11 AM & 6 PM, every day, including bad weather and holidays), a number of media reported on that. Free Sofia Tour was presented in the noon news of bTV. Check out the video on their website after 13:51. The video is only in Bulgarian. Unfortunately, bTV Media Group declined our official request to use the video on our YouTube channel in order to put English subtitles and everyone to be able to watch it.

The start of our regular daily morning tour at 11AM is among the good news for Bulgarian daily Dnevnik. From now on you can join us for a sightseeing tour of the city every day, twice a day – at 11 AM and 6 PM. No reservation required – you just have to show up!
