Self-Guided Sofia Tour

There are a number of reasons why one might prefer exploring the city on their own. And while we’re best at guiding walking tours in Sofia and Plovdiv we are also here to help you out if you’ve decided to do things at your own pace and time. If you prefer doing that here’s our suggestion for a self-guided Sofia tour that will take you around the city’s main landmarks. You should be able to cover the route in around two hours. 1. Start: Palace of Justice As with all our tours, the Palace of Justice is the perfect place to begin your journey. It is situated right next to the pedestrian part of Sofia’s main street – The Vitosha Boulevard. Look out for the two lion statues at the very front and you will never miss it. The 365: Communist Tour of Sofia

This year the 365 Association, which stands behind the Free Tours of Sofia and Plovdiv, is launching two new and exciting projects: the 365: Communist Tour (link for the tour) and Culture Tour (link for the tour). Free Varna Tour wants you in the team this season

For the second time Free Sofia Tour Association is looking for locals with a long-term dedication to the first regular free English language sightseeing walking tours in the sea capital of Bulgaria – Varna! The walking tours will be organized in the way they exist in almost all big European cities, including Sofia and Plovdiv. Free Varna Tour started on Friday, 13th April 2012. This year’s season will start on Saturday – again 13th of April. The primary goal of our Association is to make every foreigner feel welcome in Bulgaria and ignite their interest in such a way so that they want to come back and recommend it to others.
