Small world

One of the good things about Free Sofia Tour

This is that it gets together travellers from many different countries. We’ve had visitors from around 70 countries and very often have groups with guests from 4 or 5 different continents. It’s a small world and our tour makes it even smaller so very often there are funny coincidences. Just a couple of examples:

• Once half-way through the tour two girls from Germany and two girls from the Philippines realised they live just two blocks from each other in… Vienna.
• At the end of the tour I ask a guy from Turkey what does he do. He says he studies in the Netherlands. Which city? Tilburg. Where does he live? Goirkestraat. Which number? 154. Well, I spent one year studying at UvT on Goirkestraat 156.
