Christmas Get Together of Free Sofia Tour
December 4, 2014The Seven Most Picturesque Monasteries In Bulgaria
January 12, 2015Year 2014 was definitely the most successful year for 365 Association.
We welcomed over 20.000 guests, organized a series of events, had a lot of fun on team buildings and expanded again our team.
Here are some of the most significant highlights in our great year 2014:
In February we launched a series of “Free Sofia Tour Gets (You) Together” events.

The idea behind is to allow locals learn more about our project as well as to be a place for story sharing and adventure planning. Throughout the year we organized 5 events – with presentations, games, presents, and surprise performances.
In March the majority of the guides joined the 365 Association spring team building
It was loaded with lots of fun, cooking, games and discussions about the meaning of different personality types as part of the 365 Association team.
Again in March some of us attended the United Europe Free Tours annual summit.
The main takeovers from the meeting were to start actively looking for new members and develop a program for supporting each other on various topics. Apart from this our team was able to visit a few tours in Belgrade and Prague and to gather valuable ideas for the improvement of our own tour.
In May we welcomed our Guest # 50.000
It was an event attended and honoured by the mayor of Sofia Ms. Yordanka Fandakova. This turned out to be a girl from the Czech Republic living and studying in the US. Most amazing of all – she and her two travel mates attend a Slavic chorus where they sing Bulgarian folklore songs! They joined the Get Together after the tour and left us all speechless with “Bre Petrunko” and other songs. The link is actually a recording of their chorus in Yale University.
After a very intensive training, in June six new guides joined our team.

In August we celebrated our 4th birthday

In the backyard of the Red Dot art gallery, with wine, finger food, live music, an auction of Old Sofia canvases, and a huge cake!
In September we did a great team photo shoot with a professional photographer.

End of October we had our autumn team building (link to the facebook gallery) as part of the General Assembly of our 365 Association (link to the associsation’s website). Among team building activities and endless discussions about future of the Association and its projects, we experienced first snowfall and enjoyed the great combination of snow and hot mineral waters in the hotel’s swimming pool.
Finally, our year ended with a cozy Christmas get together in DaDa Cultural bar.
We look forward to a very fun, healthy, sunny and successful year 2015 with lots of smiling guests from all over the world! Happy New Year 🙂
