March 16, 2012Some more information on why Bulgarians celebrate today and what is the biggest holiday in Bulgaria all about 🙂 As for Sofia – it was liberated on 4th of January 1878 and became a capital on 3rd of April 1879. Happy Liberation Day, everyone!
