June 10, 2013World Refugee Day
June 20, 2013We are a non-profit organization for public benefit working for tourism and culture.
You have probably seen us waiting in front of the Palace of Justice in Sofia, the Central Post Office in Plovdiv, and the Cathedral in Varna holding a sign, and gathering enthusiastic tourists for a free walking tour around the city.
We used to be called Free Sofia Tour but we’ve grown up. We don’t feel comfortable anymore saying that the Free Sofia Tour Association organizes the Free Varna Tour.
Hi, we’re 365 Association. We needed a name to reflect all of our projects. But worry not – we’re not renaming our most successful project, the Free Sofia Tour!
You might have also happened on one of our exhibitions on the Lovers’ Bridge or in Kristal Park in Sofia. We also show our capital both to refugees and asylum seekers. We try to pass our experience onto students. We are currently writing our memoirs. We like to exchange knowledge with cities from all over Europe. We are being sought to consult organizations in places such as Istanbul, Cádiz, Vienna and Tenerife. We are working on developing a social program for underprivileged children. We’ve also developed a tour route of the National Palace of Culture, but that’s a long story… On our wall, we still have a ton of sticky notes with ideas for new projects which are still awaiting their time!
In short:
365 as in 365 day a year, every day, twice a day. An association of proactive young people in which something is happening literally 365 days of the year – even on days like January 1st, March 3rd, December 24th (not a single day off, not even in a leap year). Unlike other NGOs we don’t do projects every once in a while, but literally every day.
Why do we do it?
365 Association’s goals are:
1. To promote Bulgaria as a tourist destination and a cultural center
We believe that Bulgaria is a place that’s worth visiting. We are constantly working on showing our country to foreigners and Bulgarians alike.
2. To make the cultural sites of the Bulgarian cities more popular by organizing free walking tours for our guests
We have personally shown over 30,000 guests around the three biggest Bulgarian cities and we have no intention of ending it here.
3. To help improve tourist products in Bulgaria
We start with the ‘man in the mirror’ and set really high quality standards. We constantly develop our team. Our association can boast the three first places for tourist sites in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna in the popular travel website TripAdvisor.
4. To increase the involvement of young people in Bulgaria
Young people need to act. We see it every day within our association. We are dedicated to providing them with more and more opportunities to actively develop the city and the country they would like to live in 365 days in the year.
5. To facilitate intercultural exchange
We don’t imagine that we can and know everything but we are convinced that anything is possible with the help of our friends from all over the world. Every day we give an opportunity to people from 6 continents (we’re somehow missing the 7th for now) to meet and interact learning something new about one another while having fun.
Now the 365 Association is looking for a logo and you can contribute!
How do we seem through your eyes – charismatic, cool, fun? Would you go out on a date with us?

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Does the logo of the association have to include any specific words or numbers?
No, you have the complete freedom to create.
2. Do you have a web page?
We’re going to build one. At 365association.org.
3. Do you have a slogan?
Nope, we still can’t think of one. Ideas?
If we decide to include a slogan, here’s what we imagine it would sound like:
365 Association: Every day is a day for culture and tourism.
4. What feel would you like the logo to have?
Modern, simple, friendly, but at the same time serious.
Very often institutions and potential partners see us only as “a group of young enthusiasts” and not as the established organization with a stable structure that we actually are.
5. How and where will the logo be used?
Mainly online; on products/labels for products (souvenirs); on business cards, t-shirts and other marketing materials; on official paperwork for the Ministry of Tourism.
