This walking tour should be the first thing any tourist does in Sofia; the tour takes guests along to the most iconic sites of the city, supplementing historical stories and facts with personal anecdotes provided by the guides. The guide I had, Niki, was extremely well informed about all the sites and the history of the country, and was a friendly, engaging, and amicable guide. This is also a great place to meet other tourists from other countries!

The tours run twice per day, at 11:00 and 18:00. Highly recommended
