April 20, 2012If you’re tired of Sofia, if you want to see the sea coast and meet the “sea capital” of Bulgaria – don’t miss the chance to be one of the first guests of Free Varna Tour! The Free English-language sightseeing walking tour of Varna is the newest project of our Association. It will start this Friday (two days before the Orthodox Easter), and will run at 11AM and 6PM. No reservation are required, just show up at the meeting point – the Cathedral. Here you can learn how to get to Varna.
The primary objective of Free Varna Tour is to make every foreigner feel welcome in Varna
And ignite their interest in such a way so that they want to come back and recommend it to others. We are young and passionate about what we do and we constantly strive to make each tour personal, fun, informative, helpful and tailored for each visitor’s individual needs. The tours will be run by locals with various interests, experience and perspectives.

The tour will go through the main attractions in Varna – like the Cathedral, the Opera House, the Roman Baths, the Sea Garden and will tell stories about some monuments and museums. It will also reveal valuable information about the culture and the atmosphere in Varna and will help you discover what is to feel like living just next to the Black Sea. With this project we want to challenge the current image of Varna – a perfect city for all-inclusive packages, nice beaches and good bars with cheap alcohol. We want to show all guests of Varna that our city has much more to offer and can be put next to all other European cities and their walking tours.
The fatalists among you will notice it – the starting day is Friday the 13th!
However, the whole team of Free Sofia Tour Association agreed on this date. Why? Our first project started on another Friday the 13th – in August 2010 🙂 20 months later we are more than convinced, that this date brought us good luck.
So, keep your fingers crossed and come visit us in Varna!

Hello,
I met last month and we discussed the possibilities of adoption. If you think that you are able to help a married couple who have not been able to have any children then please can you email me. They are prepared to accept one child or twins and ideally no older than 4 years old.
