Eastern Rhodopes Guide

Taste the wild nature of the Eastern Rhodope Mountains, South Bulgaria with the New Thracian Gold project 🙂 The project is also available on Facebook: The New Thracian Gold is a project of the Dutch nature preservation organizations ARK and Avalon. By 2014 they will work on supporting economic growth and welfare in the Eastern Rhodopes Mountains by developing activities which combine organic farming, nature preservation and tourism. The project is financially supported by the Dutch Postcode Lottery in the period of 2009 – 2014.

Good news travel fast

The news about the new schedule of Free Sofia Tour spread really fast. Soon after we announced the start of two tours per day (11 AM & 6 PM, every day, including bad weather and holidays), a number of media reported on that. Unfortunately, bTV Media Group declined our official request to use the video on our YouTube channel in order to put English subtitles and everyone to be able to watch it.

The start of our regular daily morning tour at 11AM is among the good news for Bulgarian daily Dnevnik. Daylight saving time

Bulgaria switches to daylight saving time and moving clocks one hour forward at 3am on March 27. Useful info for those who want to visit us on Sunday. Be careful not to come an hour late for the start of the tour 😉
